## 1. Before You Start｜开始设置前

This guide applies to merchants using the new Membership Growth System. If your interface is different from the screenshots in this guide, please contact the service team to confirm which membership system is enabled for your account.  
本指南适用于已经启用新版会员成长体系的商户。如果你的界面与本文截图不同，请联系服务团队确认当前账户启用的会员体系。

Go to **Membership → Tier Management** to configure the membership growth rules.  
进入 **Membership → Tier Management（会员 → 等级管理）**，即可配置会员成长规则。

We recommend completing the settings in the following order: configure the global XP maintenance cycle, create membership tiers, configure how members earn XP, and then decide whether each tier allows automatic upgrades and periodic decay.  
建议按照以下顺序完成设置：先设置全局成长值维护周期，再创建会员等级并配置成长值获取方式，最后设置每个等级是否允许自动升级和定期衰减。

## 2. How Membership Levels Change｜会员等级如何发生变化

A member’s level is determined by their current Growth Value, shown as **XP** in the system. XP and Growth Value refer to the same value.  
会员等级由会员当前拥有的成长值决定，系统中显示为 **XP**。XP 和成长值是同一个概念。

The complete membership growth process is: members earn XP from eligible spending or bonus XP granted through recharge packages; when XP reaches a tier threshold, the member automatically upgrades if the target tier allows automatic upgrades. If periodic decay is enabled, the system deducts XP at the configured maintenance time and recalculates the member’s tier based on the remaining XP.  
完整的会员成长流程是：会员通过符合条件的消费或充值套餐赠送获得 XP；当 XP 达到等级门槛，并且目标等级允许自动升级时，会员会自动进入该等级。如果等级开启了定期衰减，系统会在设定的维护时间扣减 XP，并根据剩余 XP 重新判断会员等级。

> ⚠️ Automatic Upgrade and Periodic Decay are separate settings. Automatic Upgrade only controls whether a member can automatically enter a tier. It does not control downgrades.  
> ⚠️ 自动升级和定期衰减是两套独立设置。自动升级只控制会员能否自动进入某个等级，不控制会员是否降级。

## 3. Global Settings｜全局设置

### XP Maintenance Cycle｜成长值维护周期

The global maintenance cycle determines when periodic XP decay is performed for all tiers that have decay enabled.  
全局维护周期决定所有已开启衰减的等级在什么时间执行成长值扣减。

### Natural Month and Natural Year｜自然月与自然年

Natural cycles run on the same date for all eligible members. Natural Month runs on the first day of every month, while Natural Year runs on January 1 every year.  
自然周期会在统一日期对符合条件的会员执行衰减。自然月在每月1日执行，自然年在每年1月1日执行。

When Natural Month or Natural Year is selected, the **New Upgrade Protection** setting is displayed. If a member upgraded to the current tier within the configured protection period before the maintenance date, the member will skip that occurrence of XP decay.  
选择自然月或自然年后，系统会显示**新升级保护**设置。如果在维护日期到来时，会员升级到当前等级的时间仍处于设定的保护期内，该会员会跳过当次成长值衰减。

### Rolling Month and Rolling Year｜滚动月与滚动年

Rolling cycles are calculated separately for each member, based on the time the member upgraded to the current tier. For example, if a member upgrades to Gold on March 15, the first Rolling Month maintenance date is April 15, while the first Rolling Year maintenance date is March 15 of the following year.  
滚动周期根据每位会员升级到当前等级的时间单独计算。例如，会员在3月15日升级为 Gold，滚动月的首次维护日期为4月15日，滚动年的首次维护日期为次年3月15日。

New Upgrade Protection is not displayed for rolling cycles because the maintenance time already follows each member’s tier upgrade time.  
滚动周期已经以会员升级到当前等级的时间为基准，因此不会显示新升级保护设置。

### Member Benefits Page Description｜客户端权益页面说明

The English and Chinese descriptions entered here are displayed in the member benefits centre on the customer-facing mobile or web page. This section is suitable for general programme rules, benefit restrictions and other information that applies to all membership tiers.  
这里填写的英文和中文内容，会展示在移动端或网页端的会员权益中心。建议用于说明适用于所有会员等级的通用规则、权益限制及其他会员须知。

Tier-specific benefits should be entered under the corresponding membership tier.  
只属于某个等级的权益，应填写在对应等级的会员权益详情中。

## 4. Membership Tier Settings｜会员等级设置

### Automatic Upgrade｜是否可以自动升级

When enabled, members can automatically enter this tier after reaching its XP threshold. When disabled, members cannot enter this tier through XP-based automatic upgrades.  
开启后，会员达到该等级的 XP 门槛时，可以自动进入该等级。关闭后，会员不能通过成长值自动升级进入该等级。

For employee tiers, corporate membership tiers or other contract-based levels, turn off Automatic Upgrade to prevent regular members from entering the tier automatically.  
对于员工等级、公司签约会员等级或其他特殊等级，可以关闭自动升级，避免普通会员通过成长值自动进入。

## 5. Spending-to-XP Conversion｜消费转换比例

The Spending-to-XP Conversion determines how much XP a member earns from eligible order payments.  
消费转换比例决定会员通过符合条件的订单支付可以获得多少成长值。

For example, if the setting is **Pay S$1.00 = Earn 1 XP**, a member who completes an eligible payment of S$100 earns 100 XP.  
例如，设置为 **支付 S$1.00 = 获得 1 XP** 时，会员完成一笔符合条件的 S$100 支付后，可以获得 100 XP。

Different membership tiers can use different conversion ratios when required.  
如业务需要，不同会员等级可以设置不同的消费转换比例。

## 6. Periodic XP Decay｜定期衰减规则

Enable Periodic XP Decay when members must continue spending to maintain their XP and membership level. The execution frequency follows the maintenance cycle selected in Global Settings.  
当会员需要通过持续消费来保持成长值和会员等级时，可以开启定期衰减。具体执行频率由全局设置中的成长值维护周期决定。

### Fixed Points｜固定点数

The system deducts a fixed amount of XP on every maintenance date. For example, if a member has 1,200 XP and the fixed deduction is 100 XP, the member will have 1,100 XP after decay.  
每次到达维护时间时，系统会扣除固定数量的 XP。例如，会员当前拥有 1,200 XP，固定扣除 100 XP，衰减后剩余 1,100 XP。

### Current Percentage｜当前比例

The system deducts a percentage of the member’s current XP on every maintenance date. For example, if a member has 1,000 XP and the decay percentage is 20%, the system deducts 200 XP and leaves the member with 800 XP.  
每次到达维护时间时，系统会按照会员当时拥有的 XP 比例进行扣减。例如，会员当前拥有 1,000 XP，衰减比例为20%，系统会扣除 200 XP，衰减后剩余 800 XP。

After the deduction, the system compares the remaining XP with the membership tier thresholds. If the remaining XP still meets the current tier threshold, the member stays in the same tier. If it falls below the threshold, the member moves to the tier matched by the remaining XP.  
扣减完成后，系统会将剩余 XP 与会员等级门槛进行比较。如果剩余 XP 仍满足当前等级门槛，会员不会降级；如果已经低于当前等级门槛，会员会进入剩余 XP 对应的等级。

If Periodic XP Decay is disabled for the current tier, the system will not perform scheduled XP deductions for members in that tier.  
如果当前等级关闭了定期衰减，系统不会对处于该等级的会员执行定期 XP 扣减。

## 7. How the Settings Work Together｜设置组合后的实际效果

For employee or corporate membership tiers, turn off both Automatic Upgrade and Periodic XP Decay when regular members should not enter automatically and assigned members should not be downgraded.  
对于员工或公司签约会员等级，如果既不希望普通会员自动进入，也不希望已进入的会员发生降级，可以同时关闭自动升级和定期衰减。

## 8. XP Decay Examples｜成长值衰减示例

### Example 1: The Member Stays in the Same Tier｜示例一：会员保持当前等级

The Gold threshold is 1,000 XP. A member has 1,200 XP and the system deducts 100 XP. The remaining 1,100 XP still meets the Gold threshold, so the member stays in Gold.  
Gold 等级门槛为 1,000 XP。会员当前拥有 1,200 XP，系统固定扣除 100 XP。剩余的 1,100 XP 仍满足 Gold 门槛，因此会员保持 Gold。

### Example 2: The Member Is Downgraded｜示例二：会员发生降级

The Gold threshold is 1,000 XP and the Silver threshold is 500 XP. A member has 1,050 XP and the system deducts 100 XP. The remaining 950 XP no longer meets the Gold threshold but still meets the Silver threshold, so the member moves to Silver.  
Gold 等级门槛为 1,000 XP，Silver 等级门槛为 500 XP。会员当前拥有 1,050 XP，系统固定扣除 100 XP。剩余的 950 XP 不再满足 Gold 门槛，但仍满足 Silver 门槛，因此会员降级至 Silver。

### Example 3: New Upgrade Protection｜示例三：新升级保护

The system uses Natural Month and performs decay on the first day of every month. If a member upgraded to the current tier within the configured protection period, the member skips that month’s decay.  
系统使用自然月，并在每月1日执行成长值衰减。如果会员升级到当前等级的时间仍处于设定的保护期内，该会员会跳过当月的衰减。

## 9. Checklist Before Saving｜保存前检查

- Confirm that tier names, display order and XP thresholds are correct.  
  确认等级名称、排序和成长值门槛设置正确。
- Confirm that the Spending-to-XP Conversion is correct.  
  确认消费转换比例设置正确。
- Confirm that each tier has the intended Automatic Upgrade and Periodic XP Decay settings.  
  确认每个等级的自动升级及定期衰减设置符合预期。
- Confirm that the correct Natural or Rolling maintenance cycle is selected.  
  确认已经选择正确的自然周期或滚动周期。
- When using a Natural cycle, confirm that New Upgrade Protection is configured correctly.  
  使用自然周期时，确认新升级保护设置正确。
- For employee or corporate tiers, confirm that regular members cannot enter automatically and assigned members will not be unintentionally downgraded.  
  对于员工或公司签约会员等级，确认普通会员不会自动进入，并且已进入的会员不会意外降级。
